Wheater’s Field

Wheater’s Field was one of four homes for Broughton / Belle Vue Rangers during their time as Manchester’s most progressive Rugby League club.

Now the site of housing and a school, it was a ground used extensively in the early years of the Northern Union.

Here it is pictured from a side street with a hot drink name also prominently displayed.

We will have more to come abut this place in coming months.
