Alan Lister Royle

Alan Lister Royle was a former Manchester FC player and a private in the Royal Fusiliers. He was educated at Pembroke College, Oxford. Royle was killed at the Somme on the 3rd August 1916.

Royle is commemorated at Thiepval Memorial, Pier and Face 8C, 9A, 16A.
